In brief
FC Vaduz uses the power of football in its Corporate Social Responsibility programme to inspire youth and their families in Vaduz, Liechtenstein and the region, to merge people with different backgrounds and cultures and to create opportunities for integration. The participants benefit from year-round programmes.
Problem to be tackled
The challenges are:
- low-income families,
- opportunities for refugee children and youth as well as asylum seekers and
- integration of persons with disabilities.
Local partner
The Corporate Social Responsibility model helps to be socially accountable to the club, its stakeholders and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility FC Vaduz can be conscious of the kind of impact and enhancement it is having on all aspects of society, including economic, social and environmental. The club’s model categories are Education, Fairplay, Health and Tolerance. The programme is going to be implemented by the club and its youth department.
Beneficiaries
The project targets mainly children and youth who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The appeal of sports helps to attract and engage participation.
