School of Hard Knocks runs courses throughout the UK, changing the lives of children and adults using rugby, boxing and strongman courses, supported by a curriculum of powerful life lessons. The project with The SOL Foundation is all about school children at risk of exclusion.

Youth For Community Academic And Development Services (YOCADS) aims at empowering youth in Liberia using sports. Within the trainings, team spirit and tournaments, the youth develop more self confidence, are able to speak up for themselves and see them as playing an important role within the community.

Kicken ohne Grenzen provides a platform that is using the integrative power of football to enable disadvantaged people to grow into society and actively create their future. The initiative is supporting people of every cultural background in finding opportunities to participate in all aspects of Austrian society.

Community football in Cameroon

United Action for Children implements a Community Sports for Development programme using the power of football. It has a profound interest in protecting the rights of children because they are the most unrepresented and vulnerable members of society, the reason to create an organisation that insists on providing a caring society for children and young people, thus equipping them with the skills necessary to flourish into responsible, considerate and mature adults.

Yoga, swimming and snorkelling in South Africa

The SOL Foundation will support an ocean guardians project in South Africa. Project partner is I AM WATER TRUST.

The project uses the sports yoga, swimming and snorkelling to teach students about the importance of the ocean and therefore make the world a cleaner place.

Football in Israel

The SOL Foundation will support a football project in Israel. Project partner is the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.

The project uses the power of football to “twin” children from the different communities in order to mitigate fears, break down emotional barriers, create cross-cultural dialogue and equip the younger generations with the necessary tools to become constructive and influential leaders within their communities and the region.

The project uses tennis and other sports to give children from deprived backgrounds the opportunity to exercise, gain new skills and bond with one another in a new setting.

The project uses boxing to impact girls and young women to be sporty, secure and healthy and also be lifted as leaders and solution builders in schools and their communities.
